The Bharati Vidyapeeth’s School of Distance Education offers 21 courses in the social science, commerce, law, and management fields. Different programmes have different eligibility criteria. For example, you must pass the 12th grade exam in order to enrol in bachelor’s programmes like BCA,BA, B.Com., BBA, etc., whereas you must graduate to pursue master’s programmes like MBA, MCA, MA (Eng), M.Com, etc. When talking about law programmes, any degree from a recognised university is fine for admission to LAW programmes like DTL, DLL & LW, etc.

If you want to enroll in the distance mode of education, please click on the “Apply Now” button shown at the top of the dashboard, which asks students to provide all the necessary information, such as their name, mobile number (OTP verified), email ID, programme preferences, etc. After providing all the information, you must fill out the form, which contains four steps: personal details, academic details, document upload, and fee payment. JODO is the payment partner of BV (DU) CDOE. You can pay for your programme fees in three different modes: JODO Flex, JODO Cred, and JODO Pay. Post-fee payment, students will be treated as “provisionally admitted,” and after the document verification, students will receive a confirmation from our side for admission.

Bharati Vidyapeeth’s School of Distance Education is the place where students can complete their education with the utmost flexibility. We offer an advanced and easy-to-understand learning management system (LMS), which helps students attend recorded lectures at their convenience. Any course can be finished in two years longer than the usual time required for it. Means any master’s degree can be completed in 4 years. Any bachelor’s degree must be completed in 5 years, and any diploma must be done within 3 years after taking admission.

The marks structure of any subject in distance mode of education is 70:30, which means at the end of the semester or year, the student has to submit assignments that are for 30 marks and face the semester or yearly exam, which is for 70 marks. Answers to the assignments should be handwritten. Students should submit the assignments in person or by post to the respective study centre. Students have to appear for the examination at their respective study centres only. Students must choose those study centres while applying for the course.

Many people who are already working or pursuing education through regular mode prefer distance mode of education for upskilling them. But many times, students get confused about the reorganization by the educational bodies. But in the recent regulation, the UGC has given equal status to regular and distance modes of education, which means that while looking for employment, students may appear for an interview without hesitation because of the distance mode’s reorganization.
