Overview :
The M.A English degree course provides an opportunity to acquire advance knowledge in the main areas of English as well as to enhance the ability for better understanding of the subject.
Objectives of the course:
1. To produce experts in English language and literature.
2. To develop literary sensibility and critical judgment.
3. To develop linguistic ability and sensibility.
4. To develop compositional and communicative skills.
5. To train students in independent use of tools of learning, i.e. reference skills.
